If you're looking for a quick orientation to the city, then this is the perfect tour for you!
We start in the beating heart of Turin, Piazza Castello, where we'll admire the exterior of the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama, and the Church of Saint Lawrence. We then make our way over to the Cathedral which is home to the Holy Shroud, one of Christianity's most important relics (keep in mind that while you can see where the Shroud is kept, it is never actually on display).
After the Cathedral, we'll take a good look at the best maintained Roman Gate in the world and then weave our way through the city, passing under elegant arcades that pop out at regal squares bursting with Baroque accents. As we walk, we'll talk about the city's history, especially its period under the House of Savoy leading up to and immediately after the unification of Italy.
