About
This tour can be done starting and ending anywhere between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, but to make good use of your time (and be cost effective) we recommend doing it on your arrival day or departure day as a hybrid tour/transfer; either beginning with pick up in Naples and drop off on the Amalfi Coast or vice versa.
The goal of this tour is to combine urban sightseeing, the region's most iconic dish (Neapolitan pizza!), an introduction to the major towns of the coast, and fabulous panoramic views all into one day.
If we start in Naples, I'll pick you up at the airport, port, train station, or your accommodation and we’ll head into the center for an authentic local at a terrific pizzeria.
After a bite, we'll hop in the car and drive along the Bay of Naples on our way to Pompeii. Here, you’ll have the option of a self-guided tour, hiring a guide on-site, or I’d be happy to arrange one for you in advance. Expect to tour the impressive ruins for around two hours.
After Pompeii, we'll begin our drive along the Amalfi Coast peninsula, winding our way through pretty little and past panoramic viewpoints. We'll finish the day at your accommodation anywhere along the coast.
Please note: If you want to start the tour on the coast, the itinerary would just be the exact reverse, and we could end with drop off in Naples or back at your accommodation.
