About
Discover the ruins of Pompeii together with an archaeologist (me, Roberto!).
With a little help from my fellow professors at university and my students, I created this walking tour for those who want to understand the Roman times through the eyes of an archaeologist.
Together, we will explore the most important buildings and areas, but will also delve much deeper into the history of this place, learning about the different aspects of daily life here 2000 years ago, and discovering hidden details that your average guide simply could not know about.
My goal is not just to show you ancient ruins, but to bring them to life so that you can feel and sense what life was like here before a massive eruption stopped it in its tracks. And because Pompeii is still an active archaeological site, I'll share what's currently going on and what new things we're discovering.
Having worked as an archaeologist and tour guide in different parts of the Mediterranean sea, I’m honored to have hosted more than 5000+ guests and companies from all over the world, and to have helped them discover the secrets of Pompeii.
