About
Leave Palermo behind for the day and head south to visit two of Sicily's most beautiful sites: the Valley of the Temples complex outside of Agrigento and the stunning Scala dei Turchi rocks and beach.
We'll leave in the morning, taking off on a scenic two hour drive through the charming countryside and wine district of the River Belice valley. On arrival to Agrigent, we'll visit the archaeological site of Valley of Temples with its seven still standing Greek temples that have dotted the valley for more than 2,500 years.
After visiting, we'll stop for a leisurely bite somewhere neabry.
In the afternoon, we make our way to the nearby Scala dei Turchi cliffs where we can walk along the beach to enjoy the coastal views or get a fabulous panorama from above at the viewpoint in Realmonte.
We'll hop back in the car and return to Palermo in the late afternoon.
