Meet Angelo, your local guide in Tuscany

Ciao ragazzi! Hi guys!

My name is Angelo and I'm a tour guide here in Florence, the city where I've lived for most of my life. Although I give walking tours of the city, for most of my guiding career (over 30 years now) I've specialized in offering day trips all over Tuscany.

I do wine tours in Chianti, hilltop-town hopping in the Val d'Orcia, and jaunts further afield to places like Lucca, Volterra, the Tuscan coast, and the Cinque Terre. I also can guide in Umbria if you're interested in that.

While I do lots of day trips, I also am available for multi-day engagements so can be you guide for anywhere from 2 days to a week of touring.

All my tours and private and customizable and I pride myself on being super flexible. If you want to chat about a tailor-made tour or make changes to something I already offer, no problem!

For a little bit of info on me, many decades ago I got my high school diploma here in Tuscany and then took off on an "adventure" in the United States to do my undergraduate degree at Boston College. Degree in hand, it was back to Italy and on to an office job. I didn't last long!

A couple years into corporate life, I knew it wasn't for me and decided that I wanted to do something I had always enjoyed; showing visitors around the places I love. Becoming a tour guide was an obvious choice. And here I still am over 30 years later. They're right when they say to do what you love...
