About
Capri draws people from all over the world with its astonishing beauty. The Roman Emperor Tiberius during the first century A.D. spent the last years of his Empire here. He understood everything! Capri, with its incredible mix of archaeology, art, landscapes, food, and perfumes has always attracted painters, writers and artists.
For this tour, we'll meet at the Sorrento pier, from where we'll catch a public ferry to for the 20-minute ride to Capri, enjoying beautiful seaside views along the way.
Once on the island, we'll learn all the details and history of this astonishing place and will explore delightful little corners away from the crowds and mass-tourism hotspots.
We'll first visit Anacapri (the second village on the island) and Villa San Michele, and will then tour Capri (the main village) and will explore the "Piazzetta" and Augustus Gadens.
Whenever we're hungry, we'll stop for lunch and will sample the best local products that the island has to offer. There will also be some free time to explore, go for a swim, or do some shopping.
Together, we'll discover this magical island through its little alleys, its famous shops, the rich villas, the colorful gardens, and the blue sea.
