About
On this full-day tour we'll visit two of Puglia's most famous towns: Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. We'll hit the must-sees, but will also explore more local sides of these heavily-touristed places.
Located 30-40 minutes from Bari or Ostuni, Polignano a Mare is one of Puglia's most photographed towns. With a stunning beach squished between imposing sandstone cliffs and white-washed stone buildings carved straight out of the rock, it's a coastal gem.
Nearby Monopoli is a larger, but lesser-visited city with a maze-like core, a charming marina, a beautiful Cathedral, and Grotto Churches housing stunning frescoes.
The coast near both of these cities is lined with sandy and rocky beaches and the flat countryside is filled with ancient olive groves, perfect for photos and walking, which we'll do!
Combining the two cities in a single day makes good use of your time and gives the opportunity to explore the surrounding area at a leisurely pace.
