About
Assisi, home to the Basilica and tomb of Saint Francis is a place of great spiritual importance to catholics.
Our visit here is centered around the Basilica and tomb, and we'll visit while discussing the life of the patron saint and his influence on catholicism and history.
Inside the church we'll also discuss the fantastic works of art and the talented artists, among the finest of the 13th and 14th centuries, who created them.
Our visit will conclude with a walk around Assisi town. We'll wander the quiet cobble stone streets, stopping at a fabulous viewpoint, and winding up in the main square in front of the beautiful Roman temple. Our last stop will be the very top of town where we'll enjoy more great views.
