About
Let's explore Catania during the best moment of the day: by night, when the city is definitely most atmospheric. This is the perfect moment to enjoy the city and see it from a different perspectivel; full of life and with locals out and about enjoying themselves.
During our walk, we'll enjoy the city ambiance and architecture, with its monuments lit by elegant street lamps and nightlife streets full of people mingling.
I'll show some interesting street artwork (and an entire street art district), share lots of info on the history and culture of the city (especially its relationship with omnipresent Etna), and take you through local neighborhoods bustling with life.
This is alternative walking tour, and we don't focus on the city's highlights and most iconic places, instead meandering through back streets and alleys so that you can really feel what the city center is like, and not just its main thoroughfares and touristed places.
This is a fun and different want to get in touch with Catania, and my goal is to have you feel like you're not so much on a tour, but a casual walk with a local friend.
Our time together will finish outside the Fish Market, which by then is an area bustling with people of all types out enjoying the night.
In summer the tour can start at 8:00 or 9:00 pm, but 5:00 pm in winter.
