Turin has been my home forever, and I can’t wait to share its stories with you!
I like to call this my "Turin in a day" tour and think it serves as a great orientation tour for people spending more time here or for visitors short on time who want to pack in as much as possible.
Over the course of 6 hours, we'll take a relaxed and engaging walk around town, covering pretty much all the major sights and must visit places. As we wander, we'll chat about the city's history, development, culture, and modern life. I always try to keep things engaging, so hopefully we'll laugh a lot too!
We'll also have time for a guided visit to one of Turin's major cultural institutions: the Royal Palace, Mole Antonelliana building, or Egyptian Museum. You can pick whichever interests you the most or we can chat together to see what would be best.
My goal with our time together is to show you my wonderful city while also helping you understand how it rose from humble origins as a small Roman settlement to become an important European capital under the Savoy dynasty, then Italy's first capital, and eventually an industrial and economic hub that powered the Italian economy in the modern era.
